The principle of operation of a manual starter:
The spring is of the clock type, it is wound on the axle, when the rope is pulled out, the spring winds up and creates a rotational force in the opposite direction to the extension, after releasing the spring, the axle returns to its original position , winding the rope around the drum on the way. The starter is hooked onto the motor shaft by means of special spring-loaded eccentric antennae which, like hooks, can only be hooked into the grooves in one direction. When starting the engine, the starter turns the engine shaft until the start, then the engine shaft begins to rotate and the starter antennas release according to the freewheeling principle.
This Recoil starter is made in Japan from special materials and is not a cheap copy from Asian countries.
